New team for LA LIVE - KRKV

Kaitlin Johnson, a senior at Las Animas High School, and Bill James, from KRKV 107.3, broadcast LA Live this past Tuesday at noon from the John W. Rawlings Heritage Center.

Bill and Kaitlin have accomplished a couple of sessions this summer at the Community Center and have now confirmed that they will be the new team on LA Live.

LA Live will broadcast weekly at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at Java Jackie's beginning Aug. 29. James replays the session at noon on Wednesdays on the radio so that all listeners may enjoy the broadcast.

The broadcast will include sports news, school news, community events, museum news and many more interesting tidbits. People are encouraged to go on down to Java Jackie's, or just listen in the comfort of their own home.

Eli Frausto joined the team at the museum on Tuesday to find out about the engineering part of radio broadcasts and wants to learn more. History is one of James' hobbies and he said he enjoyed being among the exhibits at the Museum.
