Much to the delight of residents of Southeast Colorado, Dairy Queen in Las Animas will reopen at 10 a.m. on Feb. 4.
Now residents of Las Animas and the surrounding areas will be able to get their favorite Dairy Queen treats once again.
The business recently underwent a remodel, closing the beginning of January and features new counters and new registers, an entire replacement of the front of the store, with the exception of the floor tile, new ceiling and lighting and a new floor and wall coverings in back.
Dairy Queen, owned by Bill and Nancy Long, currently employs 14 people, with more hired in the summer, Bill said.
Dairy Queen will reopen on Feb. 4 and will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
