The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Colorado has announced its approval of the Neegronda Irrigation Project, which is located in Bent and Prowers counties in southeast Colorado. The primary objective of this project is to address water quality and water quantity concerns related to irrigation water concerns within the project area.
Abbey Christman, survey coordinator for Colorado Preservation Inc., will be at Boggsville Historic Site the evening of Saturday, July 24 to discuss the history of homesteading in southeastern Colorado.
