First National Bank of Las Animas now operates in six communities

Effective Jan. 14, 2012, First National Bank of Las Animas has purchased the majority of the assets of First National Bank of Ordway and assumed all of the deposits,  resulting in six locations for the combined organization.  Chartered in 1901, the bank serves the lower Arkansas Valley with offices in Fowler, Rocky Ford, Ordway, La Junta and Las Animas with an additional location in Monument.
