The Christmas musical “Make Me An Instrument” opens Thursday at the Picketwire Center.

“Make Me An Instrument” opens Thursday at the Picketwire Center for Performing and Visual Arts. Under the direction of Lindy Nelson, the author of the original Christmas musical, three handbell choirs, the Picketwire Christmas Choir and a newly formed Holiday Children’s Choir, along with some special guests (maybe even a few surprises) will take the stage to get everyone in the holiday mood. The holiday production of “Make Me An Instrument” is set for Dec. 1, 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pickewtire Center for the Performing and Visual Arts at 802 San Juan Ave. in La Junta. The Box Office is open nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be reserved by calling 384-8320 or stopping by the box office.
