The Bent County HealthCare Center will be hosting an expedited nursing assistant class beginning on Monday, Jan. 9.

The Bent County HealthCare Center will be hosting an expedited nursing assistant class beginning on Monday, Jan. 9. The class will run Monday through Friday for three weeks and classes will be held at BCHCC, located at 810 Third St. in Las Animas. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to test for certification through the state.

The first two weeks of the course will be classroom studies from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The last week of the course will be clinicals from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Full scholarships are available to qualified candidates and partial scholarships are available to other students. Scholarships are only available to individuals employed at Bent County HealthCare Center for a 6-month minimum after program completion.
