Justin Bennie Gallegos was born June 14, 1995, in La Junta, Colorado, and passed away on Jan. 22, 2017, also in La Junta, Colorado at the age of 21.

Justin had a "big" heart and was kind and loving to all who knew him. When he was young, he was an avid Denver Broncos fan until his uncle from California convinced him to become an Oakland Raiders fan. His favorite television series was Family Guy. He was a wonderful son, nephew, grandson and brother. He has numerous cousins whom he enjoyed spending time with. Justin had a terrific sense of humor. His friends nicknamed him "Jaws," stating that once he started talking, they couldn't get him to stop. He had a special dog named Chewy whom he taught to give the best "high-fives." He will be missed immensely by all who knew him. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten thanks to the wonderful memories that he blessed us with.
