Bent County Development Foundation is pleased to welcome the Bent’s Fort Inn new management team, Troy and Susan Kim. Bent’s Fort Inn is located on 10950 East Highway 50 in Las Animas, Colorado. Troy and Susan are a delightful couple who recently relocated to Bent County to serve as innkeeper’s at the warm, comfortable Inn, located right by the Arkansas River on the historic Santa Fe Trail.

Bent’s Fort Inn is a 40-room motel with a dining facility and bar. It has been long-standing pillar in the southeast Colorado region for overnight stays for tourists and business professions alike. It also serves as a meeting venue for local and regional businesses and organizations, a warm and welcome place to dine with family, and has been noted as a regular stop for many dignitaries over the years, as well as the local farmers who stop in for morning bunkhouse style coffee. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday during lunch and dinner with the bar open until 10 p.m.

As we welcome the new management team to Bent County, we would encourage both local residents and travelers to stop for a great dining experience or overnight stay in an atmosphere that reflects our proud, historic western heritage. The Inn was established in 1968 on the historic Santa Fe Trail, and has had several remodels during its lifetime. Stop in and enjoy an overnight stay or dine while you enjoy the view of the Arkansas River and regular wildlife nearby, along with the famous Colorado sunsets.
