The Colorado High School Activities Association announced its final regular season basketball polls on Monday. The rankings are posted on the CHSAANow.com website.
The Crowley County boys' basketball teams continues to be undefeated and at the top of the Class 2A rankings for another week. The Chargers are the only Santa Fe League team in the poll.
Following Crowley County are Yuma, Del Norte, Sedgwick County, Highland, Byers, Limon, Vail Christian, Meeker, and Simla.
Fowler is listed as "others receiving votes," along with Ignacio, Calhan, Sanford, Rangely, Dawson, Evangelical Christian, Haxtun, Clear Creek, and Paonia.
Two teams from the Arkansas Valley League are in the Class 1A Top 10 as Holly is second and South Baca is eighth. Cheyenne Wells is the only High Plains League team in the rankings as it is third.
Peetz is ranked first, followed by Holly, Cheyenne Wells, Sangre de Cristo, Heritage Christian, Sierra Grande, Creede, South Baca, Longmont Christian, and Front Range Baptist.
Kit Carson dropped out of the Top 10, but is listed as "others receiving votes." Also in this category are Primero, DeBeque, Cotopaxi, Genoa-Hugo/Karval, and Otis.
Vanguard is the only Tri-Peaks League team in the Class 3A Top 10 and it remained in the sixth position.
Sterling remains at the top of the rankings, followed by Alamosa, Platte Valley, Kent Denver, Coal Ridge, Vanguard, Lutheran, Grand Valley, Denver Science and Tech-Stapleton, and Bayfield.
Colorado Springs Christian is in the "others receiving votes" category, along with Manual, Roaring Fork, Faith Christian, Strasburg, Arrupe Jesuit, and Resurrection Christian.
Swink continues to be ranked third in the Class 2A poll. The Lady Lions are the only Santa Fe League team listed in the Top 10.
Yuma is still ranked first, followed by Wray, Swink, Holyoke, Limon, Del Norte, Denver Christian, Simla, Highland, and Soroco.
Listed as "others receiving votes" are Ignacio, Meeker, Rangely, Haxtun, Clear Creek, Paonia, and Sanford.
Kim/Branson dropped from second to third in the Class 2A poll. Two other Arkansas Valley League teams are in the Top 10 as Holly is seventh and Springfield is eighth. Representing the High Plains League are Kit Carson, which is still No. 1, and Eads at No. 9.
Following Kit Carson are Fleming, Kim/Branson, Briggsdale, Sangre de Cristo, Antonito, Holly, Springfield, Eads, and Sierra Grande.
McClave and Cheraw are listed as "others receiving votes." Also in this category are Heritage Christian, North Park, and La Veta.
Three Tri-Peaks League teams are in the Class 3A poll. St. Mary's is still ranked first, Colorado Springs Christian is still ranked third and Lamar is still fifth.
Following St. Mary's are Centauri, Colorado Springs Christian, Pagosa Springs, Sterling, Kent Denver, Cedaredge, Lutheran, and Eaton.
Manitu Springs and La Junta are mentioned as "others receiving votes," as are Resurrection Christian, Moffat County, Alamosa, and Delta.
