BOGGSVILLE CEMETERY TOURS: The third annual Boggsville Cemetery Tours will be held on Friday, May 25 starting at Boggsville at 4 p.m. Visitors ride horse drawn wagons and buggies to the Bent County/Las Animas Cemetery and hear actors perform characters that lived and died in Bent County throughout the cemetery. Every year there are new stories and actors. This event is co-sponsored by PEO and Boggsville. Cost is $10 per person – no meal will be provided but PEO will provide drinks and cookies. Come hear the stories of the people who settled Bent County. Learn about their lives, their hardships, their tragedies, their successes as they scratched out a living in the 1800's. Good times! For reservations for parties of four or more please call Linda Bourne at 719-688-2508.
