InspirationField, a nonprofit organization that strives to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is celebrating the opening of a new home in La Junta, CO for two local sisters, Nancy and Audrey Eubanks.

Nancy and Audrey have always had the dream to own their own house and after two years, and a lot of waiting for the right house to be put on the market, they were finally able to find a home in their price range and fulfill that dream. For the past several years, Nancy and Audrey rented a small house that didn’t quite fit their needs, so this new home is definitely a breath of fresh air and they couldn’t be happier to be in a place that suits them perfectly.

“This was a dream come true. I like the new location and this house is better than the last one. I like being able to walk to Safeway and the City Park. I also like my new neighbors.” stated Nancy.

The mission of InspirationField, is to serve people, create relationships, expand opportunities and fulfill dreams. All persons, regardless of their level of disability, can live and work in the community with dignity, choice, and self-determination. The opening of the new home not only directly and positively affects Nancy and Audrey, but it also shows individuals that they have an opportunity to live independently.

“I love our new house. It’s very pretty and makes me happy.” stated Audrey.

A Housewarming Party was Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 906 Lincoln Ave.
