I nominate Orlandis Carter-Villa for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011              
This student’s accomplishments are as follows: Orlandis positively affects our classroom.  He partners well, disciplines himself and strives for excellence in class every day. Orlandis’ humor is infectious, causing a positive working environment. Thanks for your positve input, Orlandis!

I nominate Caleb O’Connor for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011             
For the month of November this boy has worked hard at everything he did. His AR points have shot through the roof, received A’s on all his tests, and he works hard at everything he does. He has an interested in all subjects and a drive for learning.  I can count on this boy to show PRIDE in school and on the streets. His pumped up and ready to achieve attitude is the reason why I chose Caleb as my Thunderbird.

I nominate Arianna Salazar for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011             
For the month of November this girl has shown me what excellence looks like. She is never off task, and always working toward bettering herself in all areas. She has more than doubled the points for the movie night and is close to completing the yearly 90-point goal. This little sweetie has a great attitude and is a joy to be around. She has a drive for learning and succeeding, and that is why Arianna Salazar is my Thunderbird this month.

I nominate Gabrielle Alba for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011              
This student’s accomplishments are as follows: Gabrielle is a wonderful 2nd grade student! She produces excellent work in reading, writing and math and always turns in her completed homework on time!  She is doing great in AR and it is so nice to see Gabrielle’s genuine love for reading.  She has such a sweet and pleasant personality and is a joy to have in class!  Gabrielle works hard and stays focused and I am very proud of her!  Keep up the great work!

This student’s accomplishments are as follows: Tyler is a remarkable student!  He’s a very intelligent boy and does awesome in reading and math, and his writing is exceptional!  I greatly appreciate Tyler’s willingness to help other students.  He treats everyone kindly and is always so cheerful!  Keep up the great work, Tyler Coulter!  I am proud of you!

Her reading, writing and math scores continue to improve and she is truly a joy to have in class. She is a beautiful rose whose characteristics just keep developing and blooming. This student’s accomplishments are as follows:  Azaleah is like an Apple Computer.  I input the information and she outputs the answers efficiently and correctly.  Azaleah is a valuable volunteer.  She often lends a helping hand to her peers and me.   Her delightful sense of humor never fails to tickle my funny bone.  I’m proud of you Azaleah Stein!  Keep up the outstanding work ethic.

This student’s accomplishments are as follows: Cora returns her homework on time and is doing very well on her AR reading she is already to basketball. Cora takes pride in her work and produces neat, legible work.  She displays a cheerful attitude throughout the day.  Keep up the great work, Cora.

I nominate Giovanni Muniz for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011    
          
This student’s accomplishments are as follows: He is a quiet and thoughtful student.  He congratulates his classmates’ successes and encourages them when they need help.  Giovanni is one of the top readers in first grade.  He reads to others every chance he gets.  Giovanni shows discipline and excellence in the classroom as he works to master the skills that are being taught.  Giovanni is an excellent example of a Las Animas Thunderbird.

I nominate Nick Campos for the Thunderbird Club for November 2011
this student’s accomplishments are as follows: Nick returns his homework on time and his reading log is always complete. Nick shows pride in his work, with his teachers and classmates. He is friendly to everyone and has a contagious smile. He has beautiful writing skills and it is a joy to read his stories. I really enjoy having such a wonderful and talented student in my classroom.

I nominate Alicia Deatherage for the Thunderbird Club for: November 2011
This student’s accomplishments are as follows I truly enjoy having Alicia in my class. She is a very thoughtful and bright young lady. Alicia enjoys helping others and does so without being asked. She has 100 percent on sight word and math tests and high scores in reading. Her AR points are at 45 and she is above end-of- year benchmark in dibels. Alicia gives me a smile every day.
