LAS ANIMAS, Colo. —

Kim MacDonnell, president of the Las Animas School Board, was given the McGuffy award for participation on the Las Animas School Board for eight years at their meeting on Oct. 17. The award was given to her by Colorado Association Boards. This is for her outstanding performance and loyalty to the school district.
