LAS ANIMAS, Colo. —
For two weeks in December, students at Las Animas Elementary brought in canned goods to support the Food Endeavor. Students dropped their items into a large chimney in the cafeteria. The drive collected 467 items. Combined with the earlier food drive at the Amazing Family Challenge, LAES has collected over 900 items for families in need.
