The Las Animas-Bent County Library District will be holding a book sale which will begin on Monday, Aug. 23 and last through Saturday, Sept. 18. All proceeds from the book sale will go toward improving the library.
The library staff is looking for people with an interest in genealogy, who might want to be a part of a genealogy group. If there is enough interest, a group will be established.
The library will soon begin hosting monthly community interest programs for the public. If you are a member of the community who would like to share an interest, hobby, job, or experience, please contact Erika at 456-0111.
