Jason Joey Arciniega, 26, of 1108 W. Fourth St., Las Animas, died Jan. 8, 2010, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo.

He was born June 28, 1983, in Lamar to Alfonso Arciniega and Josephine Lucero. He was a student at a culinary school in Arizona.

He is survived by his father Alfonso Arciniega of El Paso, Texas; his mother, Josephine Lucero of Las Animas; one brother, Ricky Fernandez of Las Animas; grandparents, Joe G. and Maria Lucero of Las Animas and Rafaela Arciniega of Juarez, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Adrian Arciniega.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Horber Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
