Gordon James Shaw, 50, a former resident of Las Animas, died at his Denver residence on April 4, 2010.
He was born March 3, 1960, in Las Animas to Kenneth M. and Lois A. (Steele) Shaw. He graduated from Las Animas School in 1978 and moved to Denver in 1982. He was employed on a work crew for a martial arts show. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by one sister, Deborah K. Barber of Castle Rock; three uncles, Arthur Steele of San Angelo, Texas, Jim Steele of Houston, Texas, Neal Rootes of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one aunt, Margaret Gallup of Estes Park.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 11 at the Presbyterian Church with Derek Hutchison, CLP, officiating.
Burial will be in the Las Animas Cemetery with Horber Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
