Herb Reyher, 74, a lifelong resident and businessman of Prowers and Bent counties, died Nov. 2, 2009, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta. He was born Nov. 25, 1934, at Lamar to Charles Russell and Ruth (Hughey) Reyher.
He is survived by one son, Lusty Reyher of McClave; one daughter, Cindy (Mike) Beus of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; grandchildren, Matthew (Laura) Beus, Zachary Beus, August Reyher, Lucas Reyher, Moriah (Aaron) Davis and Shirah Reyher; one brother, Russell (Jean) Reyher of Winnipeg, Canada; one sister, Judy (Reese) Nielsen of Perry, Utah; nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at the McClave United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Wiley Cemetery.
