Domingo “Leo” Armijo, 84, died April 3, 2010, at the Bent County HealthCare Center.
He was born May 30, 1925, in Montrose to Benino and Benitua (Torrez) Armijo. He was a laborer and had worked for the Santa Fe Railroad.
He is survived by a sister, Carmen Armenta of Monroe, Wash., and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dometilia Garcia on March 4, 1999.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at the Bent County HealthCare Center with the Rev. Diane Hutson officiating. Music included “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross,” by the Mariachi de Santa Maria group.
Horber Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
