Setting the record straight about Food Day – part 2

In this edition, we are going to take a closer look at the Food Day initiative. While this initiative seems to be a good event by promoting healthy eating and teaching people about where their food origninates, in reality it is a “mis-initiative” by pushing the propaganda of a few organizations that are really against agriculture. The Colorado Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) and the Colorado Beef Council (CBC) would like to look at those things to which Food Day is committed.

Setting the record straight about Food Day

There is a new initiative in the works termed “Food Day” that will be taking place Oct. 24. On the surface, this Food Day appears to be an initiative to promote healthy foods to Americans versus fastfood and junkfood. However, in reality, this is a “mis-initiative” conjured up by many of the same groups that are seeking to impose their views on many unsuspecting citizens, groups, agencies and your beef consumers.
