The Las Animas Secondary School will be hosting Craig Conrad’s “The Unstoppable You” assembly on Thursday, January 14th. This is a character development program designed to help eliminate student apathy, motivates students to “raise the bar” and challenges leaders to step-up and take charge.
The assembly targets 4 groups: the student body, student leaders, teachers & staff and parents and community. Students will attend the assembly at 9:00 a.m. on January 14th.
Parents and the Community are encouraged to attend the evening assembly starting at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. This portion of the assembly is designed to build unity and teamwork between the school and the community. This entertaining and inspiring event features riveting and unforgettable big-screen images that resonates with people of all ages. It is a fun and interactive presentation that will have you laughing one minute and crying the next!

Starting at 5:30 p.m. FBLA will be hosting a Potato Bar fundraiser in the cafeteria. Cost will be $5 for adults and $4 for kids 12 and under.
