Jerome Etheridge and Azoriah Martinez have been named the Las Animas High School Athletes of the Week. Ethridge had a great week starting against Sangre. Jerome worked well on offense, defense, and special teams, getting two touchdowns. On defense he had two pass deflections, along with an interception. He also had a kick return for 67 yards which resulted in one of his touchdowns. Martinez made an impressive varsity debut, stepping into an unfamiliar position with confidence and heart.
