Underclassmen attendants included freshmen, Brandon Morlan and Brooke Miller, sophomores, Jason Gonzales and Sabrina Martinez, and juniors, Manual Martinez and Raya Martin.

In conjunction with dress-up days at the school and a community wide parade Friday afternoon, the LAHS volleyball and football team combined for a 2-2 record throughout the week, including two victories for the LAHS volleyball team over Crowley County and Rocky Ford, while the volleyball team fell in five sets to McClave Saturday and the football team to Crowley County Friday evening.

Homecoming events were void of the burning of the “LA”, an event cancelled in recent years given bad weather.

Additional events were held throughout the community by the Trojan Alumni, who hosted a a barbecue, and the Chamber of Commerce, who hosted a tailgate party prior to Friday evening’s football game.
