Jed Guerrero, 31, of La Junta, was arrested by the Pueblo Police Department after a short pursuit that ended in a crash at Northern Avenue and Hollywood Blvd.

A man wanted in Otero County on first degree murder charges was arrested Thursday, Feb. 27, in Pueblo.

 Jed Guerrero, 31, of La Junta, was arrested by the Pueblo Police Department after a short pursuit that ended in a crash at Northern Avenue and Hollywood Blvd. 

 Guerrero was booked into Pueblo County Jail on multiple warrants including the $1 million first degree murder warrant out of Otero County, a $5,000 warrant out of Pueblo County for felony assault and a $4,000 warrant out of Bent County for felony criminal mischief. 

 Guerrero was wanted on murder and kidnapping charges in connection with the murder of Jonathan Vinson, 21. Vinson's body was discovered by a rancher in an agricultural area near County Road Z and County Road 24 in Otero County on May 11, 2013. Also arrested in the case and in custody at Bent County Jail is Monica Lynnae Martinez, 20. Martinez is charged with first degree murder.
