At the beginning of school, parents need to bring immunization cards showing completed immunizations. If a child’s immunizations are not completed, you will only have 14-days from Aug. 14 (day of registration) to get them done.

Do you have a kindergartner, sixth-grader, 10th-grader or 11th-grader? If you do they may need to have required immunizations. If you’re not sure, call Bent County Public Health and Environment office at 456-0517. They will be able to tell you what your child needs and set up an appointment.

At the end of 14 days if immunizations are not done or an applications made, your student will be sent home until the application is made and they have them done.
