The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a one vehicle, rollover crash that occurred on Colorado 50 about two miles east of La Junta Wednesday morning.

A Ford Expedition, driven by Apolonia Flores, 27, of Las Animas, was westbound on Colorado 50 when a small, white sedan or hatchback allegedly forced the Expedition off the roadway, causing it to roll three-quarter times into the center median. During the roll, one of the occupants was ejected from the Expedition, and was flown Flight for Life to Parkview Hospital in Pueblo due to life-threatening injuries. The driver and one other occupant were transported by ambulance to Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta with non-life threatening injuries. The State Patrol is currently looking for the small, white sedan or hatchback that was involved in this incident. According to witnesses, it is believed to be similar to a Ford Focus or Honda Accord.
