The incredible story of perseverance, hard work, and the American dream
Dol Bhattarai grew up in the mountainous regions of Syangja, Nepal. He ran away to India at the age of 12. He traveled to many locations around the planet until he eventually found himself in Manhattan, New York, with only a travel visa, a fourth-grade education, and a meager 20 dollars in his pocket. But with hard work and determination, he became a widely successful restaurateur, business owner of various properties, a philanthropist, and owner of his newest location of his Yak & Yeti restaurants in La Junta.
