Teen shot early Thursday morning

The La Junta Police Department responded to a reports of shots fired early Thursday morning. At approximately 12:14 a.m., officers, with aid from the Otero County Sheriff’s Department, arrived on scene at a residence on the 900 block of 4th Street, where they located a 15-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound.
