COLORADO CITY — At the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2A boys golf region 1 regional, Monte Vista ran away with the team championship thanks, in part, to placing three golfers among the top-five individual finishers, which helped the Pirates score 12-over 225 as a team.Kaden Mellott (2-over 73), Liam Ellithorpe (4-over 75) and Connor Mellott (6-over 77) represented Monte Vista in the top five.The Swink Lions finished as the runner-up (30-over 243) and also placed three golfers in the top-10.
