Needlework History exhibit continues
The Rawlings Needlework History Exhibit for the summer exhibit is still going strong through Labor Day and is enjoying many visitors. Categories included in the exhibit are embroidery, latch hook, sewing, tatting, crocheting, kitting, and hand quilting. The Kinsley community quilt is featured. Joan Kinsley, a local very talented crafter, is planning on the final embroidery workshop on August 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Grand Hall. Our goal is to introduce various needlework crafts to our youth in the community for future preservation. Please call 719-456-6066 if you have any questions or Kathleen Tomlin at 719-456-2948.
