Arkansas Valley Fair crowns 2025 Silver King, Queen

The Arkansas Valley Fair added another chapter to its long history Wednesday morning as community members gathered to celebrate one of its most cherished traditions: the crowning of the Silver King and Silver Queen. This year’s honors went to John Tafoya of Rocky Ford, representing Crowley County Nursing Center, and Vera “Elvera” Martinez of Las Animas, representing Bent County Healthcare Center.
