Authorities seize over 1,400 fentanyl pills, meth, firearms, more, from La Junta house

On Aug. 30, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations, CBI, announced that they had, alongside the La Junta Police Department, discovered around 143 grams of fentanyl, about 1,430 pills, following a search warrant at a La Junta house on Aug. 29, after receiving intelligence and leads linking the residence to criminal activity.

A La Junta woman, Ryanna Rangel, 32, is currently in custody, following an incident where she allegedly stabbed a man she was in an “intimate relationship” with four times, twice in the neck, leading to a subsequent attempted murder charge, and her being held under a $500,000 bond.
