Regional Round-up: Weekly Pick ‘Em

FOOTBALL LAST WEEK’S RECORD: 7-1 GAME OF THE WEEK: Fowler (25) vs John Mall (4-3) The steady climb up the League 6 ladder cleared another rung last week as the Grizzlies overstepped Hoehne for third place with a 50-8 drumming. Of their remaining schedule, the true test will come against second place John Mall this week, who’s disposed of each of the three league opponents they’ve faced thus far. By the looks of it, the winner will claim second place, behind Crowley County. The Grizzlies’ offense has found its stride, having scored 50 points in each of its last two games. 50 points may not be feasible against the Panthers, but a win is possible. Call it an upset if you will; the Grizzlies claw their way back in to contention with a big league win.
