Las Animas Junior / Senior High School HECTOR of the Week award winners are, from left: Junior high — Abigail Netherton — Gator has been doing an outstanding job in all of her classes. She has really stepped it up in Math in particular. She has been very coachable in both class and sports. She gives full effort in everything she does. She is a great example of HECTOR for Las Animas Junior High and Las Animas sports. High school — Emma Russell — Emma was a wonderful representative of HECTOR while on the FFA National Convention trip. She has been optimistic in staying on top of her tasks while gone and came back ready to implement what she learned. Staff — Ann Marfil — Marfil has displayed her dedication to LASD in a number of ways and always steps up to the plate.
