On Dec. 11, 1943, she married her late husband and former veteran, Albert Theron Wright. They were happily married for 48 years before he passed in 1991. Marie was baptized in the Methodist Church.

Marie is survived by her children, Ruth Ann (Michael) Cochrane and Barbara (Tom) Reed; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
