The dinner and auction will be on Saturday, March 17 this year.

Chairman Jim Wallace commented that “we can always use high quality craft-type items and we know there is an abundance of talent in the area. If there are individuals who make quilts, paint, do leatherwork or have other artistic talent, we’d ask them to please consider donating an item to the auction. These items bring a high price at the auction, and always add a special touch to the auction.” To make a donation, please call the Gift Committee Chairman, Ron Davis, at (719) 469-1081. Items are needed by March 1. Wallace was quick to add that “cash donations are always welcome!”

The committee is also busy soliciting items and/or certificates from local businesses. If you are concerned that you won’t be contacted, feel free to call Davis and he will arrange for your donation to be picked up!

Claudia Conley looks forward to setting up the silent auction as well. Many coupons and certificates are available, as well as handcrafted items and beautiful baskets of baked goods, coffee, or wine. Big items such as weekends in the mountains and sides of beef or pork or held for the live auctioneer.

The Dinner/Auction will be held at the Parish Hall. The cash bar and the silent auction will open at 5 p.m. The meal will be Prime Rib. Tickets are $25.00 per person and sell out early. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets should call Shirley or Matt Perea at (719) 384-7569.
