BOGGSVILLE ANNUAL CLEANUP:  Bent’s Fort Chapter members are holding their annual cleanup at Boggsville on this Saturday, April 14 starting at 9 a.m. They do a wonderful job of dusting everything, sweeping, yard cleanup, etc. and preparing Boggsville for the opening day on Santa Fe Trail Day. Come on out!  Refreshments and lunch provided. Bring your cleaning tools and scoop up the dirt! THANKS to Bent’s Fort Chapter members for your help – it is always appreciated.

SANTA FE TRAIL DAY ART SHOW: WANTED: We will start receiving Art Work next week for the 13th Annual Art Show! Adults can win $50 for Best of Show and People’s Choice, and $25 for first prize. Students can also win $50 for Best of Show. Entries are due no later than 4 p.m. April 24. Pick up a flyer at the Museum! Theme art for the 84th annual SFTD is, “Wanted:  Settlers from 84 years of Santa Fe Trail Day. Reward: Wagon loads of fun.” Contact Linda Bourne if you need further information at 719-688-2508.  Art show opens at 8 a.m. on Santa Fe Trail Day!
