SUMMER DOLL EXHIBIT: We are very pleased to present the Rose M. Cable collection of dolls for our summer exhibit.  Rose was a former resident of southeastern Colorado, graduating from Granada High School.  Her daughter, Bettie J. Maruel is sharing the collection with us.  The exhibit will run through Labor Day Weekend.  Stop in for a visit!!  Enjoy the picture of the volunteers setting up the exhibit – these ladies did a fantastic job and also thanks to Nona Resel for her assistance.

COMING EVENTS:  July 17 – at 10 a.m. - School’s Out – Ice Cream Social and kids games with the Summer Reading Program; July 21 – Boggsville Lunch and Pie Auction 11:30 a.m.; July 31 – Field Trip to Hasty – eat at Café, tour post office, etc.; August 11 – Painting in the Grand Hall – 2-4 p.m.; and September 15 – Gourd Painting on the Purgatoire – 2 p.m.  

OLD TRAIL GALLERY SALES: Ellen Neill’s book, “Hamburgers – 5 for a $1.00,” continues to be a best seller right now – several copies available in our Gallery - $10 each plus tax – we can mail copies for $2.05.  Linda Burns has color photograph cards of the birds of Bent County available for sale in the Old Trail Gallery. We also have some great hat/apron combinations, baby quilts, local coffee mugs, and many more items for sale.  There are lots of special items that your families would enjoy for gifts!
