Selena's hosts downtown opening

A great new shop has opened downtown, Selena’s. Selena’s is named after owner Cathy Scamman’s granddaughter and the daughter of her store manager, Tanya Lopez. Sharing in the grand opening moment were Chamber of Commerce Board Members Christina Tozzie, Adam Nevland, Pam Denahy, Chamber President Randall Roberson, and Chamber Manager Susan Fisher. Selena’s specializes in finding bargains in overstocks of stores like Macy’s. She features the newest styles at the lowest prices.

Scamman has found that when people go home to eat supper, they don’t come back downtown, so she has changed her store hours. They are now Monday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. through 5 p.m., closed Sundays. Another change, which has been a big help to business, is that she can now accept debit and credit cards. She and Lopez invite you in to view their ever-changing stock, which has included men's suits and women's shoes at times.
