All offices on the Otero Junior College Campus will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. The campus will resume normal business hours beginning on Jan. 2 and classes for spring semester will begin on Jan 14.
Registration for Spring Semester at Otero Junior College is currently underway and will continue through Jan. 11. New students can call or visit the OJC Student Services Center to register, complete any placement testing they may need to do, and meet with financial aid representatives. Returning students are encouraged to register for classes, for Spring Semester, as soon as possible to ensure they get the ones they need.

Otero Junior College will hold a Nursing Assistant pinning ceremony on Friday in the Ed Stafford Theatre beginning at 6 p.m. The nursing department invites all to join and celebrate these students’ accomplishment with them. A small reception will take place following the ceremony.
Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony
The college's Phi Theta Kappa organization will hold an induction ceremony for new members at OJC, on Sunday at 6 p.m. in McBride Hall, room 137. All are invited to celebrate this accomplishment with the inductees. Refreshments will be served at a reception following the ceremony.
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society was founded in 1918 to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and to provide opportunities for individual growth through honors, leadership and service programs. It is the largest honor society in American higher education.
