Downtown Colorado will be partnering with the City of Lamar to host the Renewal & Redevelopment Partners Workshop, 5-8 p.m. May 6 in Lamar.
The focus will be on the renewal partnerships that rural Colorado towns can create to combat the history of disinvestment, which often result in the loss of historic buildings, housing and workforce.
The event will offer participants a learning environment to foster innovative approaches to redevelopment and renewal programs through informal connections, case studies and interactive dialogue to facilitate idea sharing.
