At about 2:20 p.m. Friday, the Colorado State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on Prowers County Road 35, north of Prowers County Road NN.5, approximately 8 miles north of town of Holly.
A 1998 Ford Ranger, driven by 58-year-old Robert Davis of Holly, was northbound on Prowers County Road 35. The Ranger lost control on the roadway and began to rotate, as the vehicle traveled left across the roadway. The Ranger traveled off the left side of the roadway and rolled multiples times. The driver was not buckled and was ejected during the roll.
The driver was pronounced deceased on scene by the Prowers County Coroner.
Drugs and alcohol are being considered as possible factors in the crash.
