All good things must come to an end, and the Trojan basketball season did just that for the boys in Rye on Friday, but they went down swinging.

In the first half, the Trojans went back and forth with the Thunderbolts and trailed by a mere 5 points at the half.

In the second half, the Trojans tried to come back, but were overpowered by the Bolts’ speed and accuracy from the floor and fell 57-43.

The Trojans were led by senior Cutter Nichols who wracked up 14 points.

Nichols led the team in points scored this season with 156 and was first among active players with 56 rebounds accumulated.

The Trojans lose Nichols, Miles Rader, Nick Chavez, Diego Trujillo, and Gabe DeVargas to graduation this year. Good luck, seniors. Trojan fans will miss you.
