Michael Todd Glassco, 81, passed away on March 21, 2020. He was born in Denver on Feb. 13, 1939. Preceded in death by his wife Ann Pence Glassco in 2004, he is survived by sons Gregory, Kevin and Andrew, a sister Patricia Rucki, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and his grandson, Trane Dylan.

Mike grew up in Springfield and Las Animas and graduated from Bent County High School in 1957. He went on to receive a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado in 1962.

A member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, he had strong relationships with several of his "brothers" meeting with many of them more than annually at CU football games and other festivities across the USA. Commissioned as an officer in the US Army, he served two years active duty in Korea and US military bases.

He met his wife in San Francisco, Calif., through CU alumni and they married there in 1964. Mike was employed with Allstate Insurance Company holding management positions in California, Wisconsin, Kansas, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He held human resources vice president positions with other major insurance companies in New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maryland and New York City. He also served as an officer and Vice President with career management firms Lee Hecht Harrison in New Jersey and New York City and Right Management Consultants in Denver after their move to Colorado in 1997. He retired in 2006 in Denver devoting his time and energies to family, golf and travels. 

He was laid to rest in a private memorial service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver alongside Ann, his wife for 40 years.

Mike and Ann established a University of Colorado endowment in 2001 for graduates from high schools in the counties Mike grew u.p in (Bent, Baca, Park and Otero) who pursue their college education at CU.
