The Evans family from Yuma had the most success at the Southern Colorado Little Britches Rodeo, which took place last Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the La Junta Kids Rodeo grounds.
There were five rodeos in all - one on Friday, and two on both Saturday and Sunday.
Cash Evans competed in the junior boys division, while Cassidy Evans was in the junior girls. Another sibling, Cross, participated in the little wranglers division, while another, Coy, was in the senior boys.
On Friday evening, Cash won three of the five junior boys events. He won breakaway roping in 2.870 seconds, the flag race in 8.330 and goat tying in 10.280.
Cassidy also won three events on Friday. She won barrel racing in 17.738, goat tying in 8.690 and pole bending in 20.932.
The two combined to win junior ribbon roping in 14.500. Cash was the roper, while Cassidy was the runner.
Another participant who was a multiple winner on Friday was Tanner Richards of Kirk, which is also in Yuma County. He was in the little wranglers division and he won barrel racing in 17.962 and flag racing in 9.929.
Rounding out Friday's junior boys division were Jarrett Nevius of Hartsel, who won bull riding with 71 points, and Javen Hall of Model, who won saddle steer riding with 61 points.
The other junior girls winners on Friday were Harley Ann Baas of Hudson, who won breakaway roping in 3.550, and Aspen Autry of Branson, who won the trail course in 31.267.
Javen Hall, and his brother, Jace, won Friday's junior team roping in 16.290 seconds.
Two members of Bethune's Erker family won the remaining little wrangler events. Braclyn Erker won goat tail untying in 7.560, and Brevyn Erker won pole bending in 24.348.
There was a lot of diversity among the senior boys and senior girls winners on Friday.
In the senior boys, Monte Downare of Hartsel won bareback riding with 64 points, Cooper McClain of Kiowa won bull riding with 53 points, and Cauy Pennington, also of Kiowa, won saddle bronc riding with 54 points.
Evan Bottini of Pueblo won steer wrestling in 16.990 and Cory Bomhoff of Cheyenne, Wyo., won tie-down roping in 13.110.
In the senior girls, Shyanna Reeves of Boone won barrel racing in 17.734, Lindee Lauhon of Penrose won breakaway roping in 3.530, Maria Segura of Cerro, N.M., won goat tying in 7.990, Kallee Foster of Elizabeth won pole bending in 21.688, and Mackinzee Dermody of Eagle won the trail course in 30.218.
Cinch Bullock of Campo and Cooper Slavin of Goodwell, Okla., won senior team roping in 12.710. Slavin and his sister, Kiley won senior ribbon roping in 10.30.
The Evans family was right back at it in the Saturday morning session. Cash won breakaway roping in 2.800, flag racing in 8.103 and saddle steer riding with 62 points.
Traven Sharon of Ordway was the only other junior boys winner on Saturday morning as he won goat tying in 8.410.
Cassidy won only one event on Saturday morning as she took barrel racing in 17.740 seconds.
The other junior girls winners on Saturday morning were Aspen Autry, who won pole bending in 20.411, Sadie Jackson of Centennial, who won breakaway roping in 4.040, Ashley Smith of Silverthorne, who won goat tying in 8.800, and Belle Schier of Wildhorse, who won the trail course in 31.571.
Ashley Smith and Brooke Bruner of Parker won junior team roping in 43.690 and Javen Hall and Belle Schier won junior ribbon roping in 12.500.
Tanner Richards again won two events in the little wranglers division. He won barrel racing in 18.015, and the flag race in 9.112.
Also winning Saturday morning little wrangler events were Brevyn Erker who won pole bending in 23.761, and Ry Rodriguez of Burlington who won goat tail untying in 7.970.
In Saturday morning's senior boys division, Monte Downare won bareback riding with 67 points, Cauy Pennington won saddle bronc riding with 66 points, Evan Bottini won steer wrestling in 13.440, James Lee Brown of Elbert won bull riding with 50 points, and Rowdy Norwood of Amarillo, Texas, won tie-down roping in 11.280.
In the senior girls on Saturday morning, Kiley Slavin won breakaway roping in 2.560, Maria Segura won goat tying in 7.530, Lindee Lauhon won pole bending in 21.298, Kayli Ecklund of Monument won barrel racing in 17.594, and Kamrynn Patterson of Kim won the trail course in 37.681.
Joe Cash Autry of Branson and Colton Zimmerman of Nunn won senior team roping in 7.810, and Zimmerman and Shyanna Reeves won senior ribbon roping in 10.290.
Cash Evans won two events in the Saturday evening junior boys division. He won goat tying in 10.550 and saddle steer riding with 55 points.
The other two junior boys winners were Jhett Vander Hamm of Ingalls, Kan., who won breakaway roping in 3.370 and Jace Hall who won the flag race in 8.538.
Cassidy Evans did not win any junior girls events on Saturday evening. Those winners included Brooke Bruner, who won goat tying in 9.210, Aspen Autry, who won pole bending in 21.042, Jerni Hall of Cheraw, who won barrel racing in 18.084, Remi Wells of Central City, Neb., who won breakaway roping in 2.660, and Madison Richmann of Keenesburg, who won the trail course in 32.253.
Cash and Cassidy Evans won junior ribbon roping in 11.870. There were no qualified times in junior team roping.
In Saturday evening's senior boys division, the winners included Cauy Pennington, who won saddle bronc riding with 63 points, Joe Cash Autry, who won tie-down roping in 11.090, Bob Walter of Trinidad, who won bareback riding with 61 points, and Wyatt Wollert of Wiley, who won steer wrestling in 9.360.
Paige Eaks of Pueblo West won two events in Saturday night's senior girls division. She won breakaway roping in 2.500 and pole bending in 21.371.
Other senior girls Saturday night winners were Kayli Ecklund, who won barrel racing in 17.727, Maria Segura, who won goat tying in 8.030, and Dray Hall of Cheraw, won won pole bending in 21.371.
Joe Cash Autry and Colton Zimmerman again won senor team roping in 8.620, and Porter Hall of Springfield and Maddie Thompson of Wiley won senior ribbon roping in 15.880.
In Saturday evening's little wranglers, Brevyn Erker won barrel racing in 18.700, Braclyn Erker won goat tail untying in 7.250, Cross Evans won pole bending in 23.759, and Tell Burnham of Kim won flag racing in 10.175.
In Sunday morning's junior boys, Cash Evans won flag racing in 8.144 and saddle steer riding with 64 points.
Traven Sharon won goat tying in 9.030, and Logan Vander Hamm of Ingalls, Kan., won breakaway roping in 3.020.
Cassidy Evans won only one junior girls event on Sunday morning as she took breakaway roping in 5.260.
Aspen Autry won two events on Sunday morning, claiming pole bending in 20.986, and the trail course in 27.65.
The other two junior girls winners on Sunday morning were Sadie Jackson, who won barrel racing in 17.331, and Remi Wells, who won goat tying in 9.500.
Cash and Cassidy Evans won both junior team roping in 23.280, and junior ribbon roping in 10.880.
Tanner Richards swept the little wranglers division on Sunday morning. He won barrel racing in 18.159, flag racing in 9.220, goat tail untying in 8.000, and pole bending in 21.584.
In Sunday morning's senior boys division, Monte Downare won bareback riding with 70 points, Wyatt Wollert won steer wrestling in 8.450, Colton Zimmerman won tie-down roping in 11.160, and Jaydon Warnke of Trinidad won saddle bronc riding with 54 points.
Mackinzee Dermody won three senior girls events. She won barrel racing in 17.664, goat tying in 7.880, and the trail course in 27.580.
Shyanna Reeves won breakaway roping in an even two seconds, and Kallee Foster of Elizabeth won pole bending in 21.939.
Brayden Fillmore of Penrose and Wyatt Wollert won senior team roping in 7.560, and Joe Cash Autry and Jenna East of Ovid won senior ribbon roping in 11.120.
Cash Evans won three times in Sunday evening's junior boys age group. He won flag racing in 8.231, goat tying in 10.840, and saddle steer riding with 68 points.
The remaining junior boys winner was Nathan Lammers of Elbert, who won breakaway roping in 2.800.
In the junior girls division, Sadie Jackson won barrel racing in 17.536, Madison Richmann won breakaway roping in 2.360, Belle Schier won goat tying in 8.530, Charli Bruner won pole bending in 24.010, and Aspen Autry won the trail course in 29.125.
Cassidy and Cash Evans won junior team roping in 10.440, and Jace Hall and Aspen Autry won junior ribbon roping in 9.970.
In Sunday evening's senior boys division, Cooper McClain won bull riding with 44 points, Cauy Pennington won saddle bronc riding with 68 points, Cory Bomhoff won tie-down roping in 11.010, and Jayce Harrison of Pierce won bareback riding with 64 points.
Among senior girls winners were Kiley Slavin who won breakaway roping in 2.830, Shyanna Reeves, who won goat tying in 8.310, Mackinzee Dermody, who won the trail course in 28.270, McKinzie Rush of Peyton, who won barrel racing in 18.175, and Waytynn Wollert of Wiley, who won pole bending in 23.41.
Cory Bomhoff and Coy Evans won senior team roping in 13.250, and McClane Rider of Burlington and Dray Hall won senior ribbon roping in 18.030.
In the Little wranglers division, Braclyn Erker won flag racing in 9.935, and pole bending in 27.756. Brevyn Erker won goat tail untying in 7.870, and Ry Rodriguez won barrel racing in 19.379.
