The Rocky Ford High School cross country team is hosting the Rocky Forth 4th of July Firecracker race on Saturday at Melon Field.
There will be three races — a two-mile, a 5K and a 10K.
The races start and finish on the track at Melon Field. The race course is out and back along the scenic Catlin Canal.
Registration is at 6:30 a.m. and the race starts at 7 a.m.
Runners are encouraged to practice health guidelines - social distancing, a face mask and washing hands.
There is no entry fee. Donations will be accepted and they will benefit the Rocky Ford cross country team.
T-shirts will be presented to the winner in each division and there will also be second- and third-place medals.
